Exploring Military and First Responders Career Pathways

Adopt A Class’s Heroes Day event is specifically designed to introduce 7th graders in Greater Cincinnati to the diverse and exciting career options available within the military and first responder pathways during and after high school. This engaging event will take place at Lunken Airport due to the generous support of the City of Cincinnati.

Our students will have the unique opportunity to explore several aircrafts and vehicles such as: a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and Avenger Weapon system, a U.S. Civil Airpatrol Cessna 172 plane, Cincinnati firetrucks and SWAT vehicles, and much more. The 7th graders will get to see what their futures may look like if they chose to pursue a career in these pathways.

Showcase various military branches and first responder careers and their unique missions through interactive presentations and demonstrations.

Highlight a range of in-demand specializations and technical skills students can develop in the military and as first responders.

Provide students with the chance to ask questions and interact with military and first responder personnel.

Empower Decision-Making:

Offer valuable information and resources to help students explore their future potential through a variety of military and first responder post high school pathways.
