    Exploring Military and First Responders Career Pathways

    We are excited to share that Adopt A Class will be hosting our first ever Heroes Day event!

    Heroes Day is specifically designed to introduce 500 7th graders in Greater Cincinnati to the diverse and exciting career options available within the military and first responder pathways during and after high school. This engaging event will take place at Lunken Airport due to the generous support of the City of Cincinnati.

    About our Event:

    Spark Interest:

    Showcase various military branches and first responder careers and their unique missions through interactive presentations and demonstrations.

    Explore Opportunities:

    Highlight a range of in-demand specializations and technical skills students can develop in the military and as first responders.

    Connect with Experts:

    Provide students with the chance to ask questions and interact with military and first responder personnel.

    Empower Decision-Making:

    Offer valuable information and resources to help students explore their future potential through a variety of military and first responder post high school pathways.

By pairing teams with individual classrooms, our adult mentors expose the students to a breadth of life and career experiences to increase their knowledge of career opportunities and expand their horizons with clearer self-vision. For the adopting organizations, this engagement fosters a culture of teamwork and increased knowledge our community’s needs and the challenges faced by our youth. ​
