The Beth and Bill Burwinkel Legacy Society honors those who partner in our work to provide students from underserved communities a breadth of experiences and training to be job and career ready.
Adopt A Class is impacting student lives forever, yet there is so much more to do! The Adopt A Class Endowment Fund (AACEF) is a partner 501(c)3 organization established to create a stable, secure, and self-sustaining source of funding for Adopt A Class.
The goal of AACEF is to serve as a permanent fund to support the long-term growth of Adopt A Class Foundation to reach every eligible student in Greater Cincinnati and extend those boundaries to many more students from underserved communities in the region. In fiscal year 2023, the AACEF contributed 7% of the overall incoming revenue to Adopt A Class Foundation.
Your gift to AACEF ensures the ongoing vitality of excellent programming for all AAC students, schools, mentors, and partner organizations. AACEF is governed by the AACEF Board of Directors who are dedicated to carrying out the mission of supporting a sustainable funding source for Adopt A Class.
“My wife and I have 2 qualifications for charitable giving, which we believe to be an obligation… 1. Will it help others find or experience true joy? 2. Will we find or experience true joy via the investment, participation and support of the respective mission. With AACEF, we have found both and are committed to its perpetuation and scalability.” – Greg & Nancy Geiser

From one classroom of 20 students at Oyler School, to almost 10,000 students in 47 schools across Greater Cincinnati, Adopt A Class Founder Bill Burwinkel knows one of the most valuable things a person can give is their time. The growth of Adopt A Class from one classroom partnering with one business to more than 175 partners now impacting student’s lives speaks volumes to the support of donors, mentors, and the entire Adopt A Class community. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2023. With your contribution, our vision will become a reality and we will see a Greater Cincinnati where all students have access to caring adults who expose them to a breadth of life and career experiences so they can unleash their full potential.
The video below, created by AFP Cincinnati in light of National Philanthropy Day, highlights our Founder, Bill Burwinkel. The time and dedication he’s put towards creating our program, as well as introducing the students of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to the many career opportunities in our community is truly remarkable. Check it out, as Bill won AFP Cincinnati’s Philanthropist of the Year in 2022!
