My Future Budget

Materials:

• Laptops
• Have website recommendations ready for research before activity (groceries, housing, cell phones, etc.)
• Print and copy handouts
• Google Classroom with recommendation links available to students for easy research or provide links for easy research

Instructions:
 

1. Give students some knowledge and understanding on the importance of a budget.
2. Show students a sample budget on a worksheet or in a powerpoint
3. Allow students to work in groups of 2
4. Students will create a budget with little to no assistance. Please provide support as necessary
