When Art Meets STEM

Materials:

  • Cardboard
  • Blank paper
  • Ruler
  • Circle protractor
  • Pencil
  • Chalk pens or merkers

 

Instructions:

  1. Divide students into small groups
  2. Talk to students about how the circle is 360 degrees. In order to make 5-point star students need to divide 360 by 5. Students will figure out that 72 degrees is the magic number when it comes to drawing a five-pointed star.
