Cincinnati Museum Center Offers Free Field Trips

Exciting news! Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is offering FREE, that’s right, FREE programs for AAC groups interested in a field trip experience. Interested teams have the option to either 1) take a field trip to the museum where each student will receive free admission to Duke Energy’s Children’s Museum or the current special exhibit, Vikings: Beyond the Legend. Groups can also choose to participate in a Learning Lab OR 2) request the museum to come to the school for an in-person program, known as Programs-on-Wheels. To sign your class up for a future Museum Center experience, follow these three easy steps:

*Please know this opportunity is offered through grant funds Museum Center has acquired. Grants are used on a first-come first-served basis.

1) Identify a date and determine what kind of experience you’d like to have. Check out Museum Center’s educator guide for a listing of all available Learning Labs and Programs-on-Wheels.

2) Send a fax to the museum. For a class to use the grant, the teacher must have their principal fax a letter to Museum Center on school letterhead stating the percentage of students in their school (not district) on free/reduced lunch. All qualifying schools must have at least 60% of their students on free or reduced lunch. The fax number is (513) 287-7002. Please give the reservation staff about 3 business days to process the paperwork.

3) Call and make a reservation at (513)287-7021. Prior to calling, please look at the pre-reservation checklist to make sure all information is ready.
