A New & Exciting Chapter: Welcome Adopt A Class CEO Sonya Fultz
A Message from the Board President, Jason Partin:
I am excited to announce that Sonya Fultz has become the new Chief Executive Officer of Adopt A Class. Sonya will begin serving in her role as of March 23rd, 2020. With her strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of education, and long-time experience working with marginalized communities, it was clear to the Adopt A Class Board that she was the best candidate to fill the position.
Sonya Fultz has dedicated her professional career to creating academic opportunities for marginalized communities to access an affordable and effective education. She taught for ten years in P-12 public school settings. She then transitioned to teaching and administrative roles in higher education working with first generation students, adult learners, and students seeking non-traditional pathways to a degree. Sonya has spent the last twenty years as a national and international trainer in school-based conflict management systems.
Looking at how far Adopt A Class has come and at the road ahead, we are confident that Sonya is the right person to lead this organization into the future. Please join me in giving Sonya a warm welcome & a well-deserved congratulations! We are happy to have her leading us moving forward.
